At Your Fingers At Your Fingers A Perth mum who lost her husband to melanoma cancer has launched a new website to simplify finding health and wellbeing services. Janelle Repacholi has seen the difficulty in finding health and wellbeing services from both sides of the health spectrum. As a naturopath, she was constantly asked by clients how they could find services to help their condition or improve their wellbeing and then, as a wife, she went though the experience of her terminally ill husband searching for services and practitioners as he battled melanoma. So she decided to create her own health and wellbeing website to share information on the many practices and services on offer in WA. "When Stuart was unwell, we were constantly being given details of new services and practitioners to visit and when realised how many good resources were out there, I thought it would be great to have them all together in one place," Ms Repacholi said. "In my line of work, when I recommend a client takes up yoga or buys a particular organic food or product, for example, the first thing they ask us is 'Where's the best place to go for that?'." The online community resource will feature news and stories on health and wellbeing matters as well as ways to eat well, keep active and stay emotionally and mentally fit. © The West Australia
